Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Roughstock Hat Company. We take pride in carefully preparing and packaging every order to ensure it arrives in excellent condition.
Order Processing
Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days after payment has been received.
Orders that include custom hat shaping may require additional processing time. Depending on order volume and customization requests, custom-shaped hats may take up to 7 business days before shipping.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Shipping Methods
We ship through trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Available shipping options and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout.
Delivery estimates are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package size, weight, and selected shipping method.
Occasionally, we may offer free shipping promotions. These promotions are subject to specific terms and may be changed or discontinued without notice.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information, if available.
Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active after receiving your shipping confirmation.
Shipping Delays
While we strive to ship every order promptly, Roughstock Hat Company is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Weather
- Natural disasters
- Carrier delays
- Holidays
- Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
- Other events beyond our control
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.
If an incorrect address is entered, please contact us immediately. If your order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to update the address.
Once an order has shipped, we cannot guarantee address changes or rerouting.
Additional shipping charges may apply if a package must be reshipped due to an incorrect address.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Photographs of the damaged package
- Photographs of the damaged product
If a package is lost in transit, please contact us so we can assist in filing a claim with the shipping carrier.
Custom-Shaped Hats
Every custom-shaped hat is carefully inspected before it leaves our shop.
Because each hat is individually shaped to the customer's specifications, all custom-shaped hats are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
International Shipping
International shipping may be available to select countries.
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country's customs authorities.
